Your Child At 3 Years 10 Months


When your child is 3 years and 10 months old, then it is about the age of 4 and at this age, your child will be showing a keen interest in every learning activity. He or she will be playing and growing while making the most of their time. It is the age when most kids are about to go to kindergarten or already in kindergarten. At this age, your child will be showing off their real talents and it is important that you keep an eye on a child’s development. Here are some milestones your child must be developing.

Weight and height
The weight of 3 years and 10 months old boy would be around 33 to 39 pounds and 32 to 38 pounds for a girl. The height of a child at the age of 3 years and 10 months would be around 39 to 41 inches for boys and 38.5 to 41 inches for girls. It is normal to have a round figure because every kid is different.

About your child’s milestone
At the age of 3 years and 10 months, children are not only growing in height and weight but they are also developing gross motor skills. They started to learn and recognize their own space and it is possible that they don’t bump into other people. Their bodies get stronger and they might develop running skills. The kids can start learning to color inside a box and learn to solve a few easy puzzles and it is because of the fine motor skills, which is cognitive development inside a child’s brain. A child will listen to the important tips that you communicate like don’t go outside alone, hands off from electric socket, etc.

About your child’s health and nutrition
Babies will eat better at this age because they have grown their teeth and it is actually the age when they can gain a little weight as well. You can give the vegetable, fruits, grains, milk, and a few snacks to keep them healthy. Be sure to give them at least 3 meals plus snacks.

• It is the age when babies quickly adopt something so start developing their minds about some important things like no one should ever touch your private body parts, except your doctor or your parents
• They start to understand emotions like jealousy, fear, happiness, or excitement so let them experience it.
• At this age, a child will look up to his or her guardians like parents or grandparents for any opinion, so be there when they need an advice.
• They become decisive of what clothes, color or snacks they like.
